A 56 x 56 inch installation of 25 8 x 8 inch canvases. 4 x 4 inch abstract paintings on paper are mounted to each canvas using 1/4" thick foam core, giving each piece a 3-D effect.
The canvases are mounted in a 5 x 5 grid using 1" wood moulding strips. Installation is fully removable and reconfigurable. For example, the squares could be mounted in two rows of 10 canvases each (112 inches wide) down a long hallway.
Canvases can be rearranged in any color combination at any time, to keep it fresh and interesting!
